چکیده

This paper proposes a novel method for human hands tracking using data from an event camera. The camera detects changes in brightness, measuring motion, with low latency, no motion blur, power consumption and high dynamic range. Captured frames are analysed lightweight algorithms reporting 3D hand position data. chosen pick-and-place scenario serves as example input collaborative human-robot interactions obstacle avoidance safety applications. Events pre-processed into intensity frames. regions of interest (ROI) defined through object edge activity, reducing noise. ROI features extracted use in-depth perception. Event-based demonstrated feasible, real time at computational cost. proposed ROI-finding reduces noise images, achieving up to 89% reduction relation the original, while preserving features. depth estimation error ground truth (measured wearables), measured warping single camera, is 15 30 millimetres, depending on plane it measured. Tracking space define (hands space).

Human Tracking in Occlusion based on Reappearance Event Estimation

Relying on the commonsense knowledge that the trajectory of any physical entity in the spatio-temporal domain is continuous, we propose a heuristic data association technique. The technique is used in conjunction with an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) for human tracking under occlusion. Our method is capable of tracking moving objects, maintain their state hypothesis even in the period of occlusi...

3D Tracking of Human Hands in Interaction with Unknown Objects

The analysis and the understanding of object manipulation scenarios based on computer vision techniques can be greatly facilitated if we can gain access to the full articulation of the manipulating hands and the 3D pose of the manipulated objects. Currently, there exist methods for tracking hands in interaction with objects whose 3D models are known [2]. There are also methods that can reconstr...

Event-based Camera Pose Tracking using a Generative Event Model

Event-based vision sensors mimic the operation of biological retina and they represent a major paradigm shift from traditional cameras. Instead of providing frames of intensity measurements synchronously, at artificially chosen rates, event-based cameras provide information on brightness changes asynchronously, when they occur. Such non-redundant pieces of information are called “events”. These...
